HG-1 - Mercury Argon Calibration Source

The HG-1 is a battery-operated light source offering simple operation. The spectrum covers all spectral lines of mercury and argon from 254 nm up to well beyond 1000 nm. It is connected to optical fibers via SMA connector.

The lamp is a useful instrument for the inspection and correction of the wave length calibration of spectrometers or monochromators.

Power requirements 12VDC, 300 mA or
9VDC standard battery (life approx. 3 hours)
Output Hg and Ar lines from 254 nm to 1.2 mm / 0.05".
40 mW/cm2 irradiance of the Hg 253.7 nm line at 25 mm /1.0" distance through a 3 mm / 0.1" aperture
